We offer Pilates classes at a number of different locations in Leeds – details of each below with an overview map at the bottom of the page. If you have any questions, please do get in touch.

Choose Location:

  • Pilates Studio, Leeds 8

    16 Back Roundhay Crescent
    LS8 4DT

The studio is accessed via the back garden and cellar door.

You are welcome to park in the back street but bear in mind that because the street is a dead end, you’ll have to reverse out. Alternatively, there is parking at the end of the street on Cross Roundhay Avenue.

Buses: 91 (to Chapel Allerton, Meanwood, Headingley). The nearest stop to the studio is the one at the junction of Harehills Lane and Roundhay View.
12 (from Town & Oakwood). Nearest stop is the Fforde Green junction.
13A. Nearest stop is the Fforde Green junction.

Classes available at the Leeds 8 studio are:

  • Meanwood Primary School, LS6

There is a free car park opposite the school building.

Entry to the school hall is via the door directly on the main road, NOT the main school entrance.

Buses – The 51 stops on Green Road & the 52 stops on Stonegate Road, a little over 5 minutes away (closest stop is Northside Retail Park).

    Wigton Moor Church
    82 High Ash Drive

The church has a small car park adjacent to the building. In addition, there is a Shopper’s car park next door that Church users can use. There is no time limit or restrictions on parking.

Frustratingly, the local buses are not particularly local. The number 7S stops on Shadwell Lane and from there it is about 10 minutes to walk to the Church. In addition the number 36 runs down Harrogate Road and it is around 10 minutes to walk from the Lord Darcy Pub to the Church

On foot, access is via Fir Tree Lane which is just off Harrogate Road

If you are coming by car then the entrance to the big car park is a bit further up, right next door to the entrance to the Synagogue.

If you are coming by bus you will need the number 7.

Alternatively, use the number 36 which is an excellent service running from Leeds to Harrogate but is a different bus company. The bus stops are closer and during the day the buses are more regular.

Overview Map of Class Locations

  • I started pilates with Alison to improve my overall strength, stability and flexibility. As a woman in in my 60s with arthritis I wanted to maximise my ability to keep moving. My 1:1 sessions have definitely achieved those objectives. I feel stronger and my arthritic knee is much less painful even after long walks.

Alison is a thoughtful and responsive Pilates instructor, happy to tailor the sessions to my particular needs.

  • Thank you so much for the Friday morning classes at Tree Tops. My body has been stretched and strengthened and I find I am – most of the time – walking with correct posture. It really is astonishing, I feel so much better for coming.
