Over 60s

The Over 60s Pilates classes are gentler and taken at a slower pace than our evening classes and I endeavour to take account of joint stiffness, injuries and restrictions that you may have.

In these classes everyone has something that is a bit of an issue so please don’t let your movement issues put you off.   We simply start with what we’ve got, with the aim of getting you moving more, moving more efficiently and freely, and increasing strength and stamina so that you can more easily carry out the activities of daily living.

There are still a couple of options in terms of intensity.  The first, 9.30 am class is aimed at people who are more used to Pilates and the class is harder.  The second, 10.35 am class is aimed at Beginners and those of you who simply want an easier, gentler class

Our classes are ongoing which gives you the flexibility to start whenever you want, not just at the beginning of term. This does mean that you’ll be joining a class that’s in full swing, but all of the other participants have been in the same situation a few months or weeks ago.

In class, please do feel free to ask for clarification of an exercise or an alternative. We are always on hand with alternative exercises and modifications but you might have to nudge us. Please don’t suffer in silence – do speak up if you need some more info or help.

You don’t need to be 60 to join – we’re not counting!

Booking Classes

If you would like to book a Pilates class, the cost is £9 if you pay and go, and £8 if you buy a block of 5 at £40.

If you are new to Pilates Leeds, or have never bought a pre pay card before, why not get your first one for just £30? That is just £6 per session.

You can reschedule your booking up to the night before class. If you decide to cancel completely then please contact me.

Note: if you buy a 5 session class pass, you still have to book the classes for the relevant dates.

For desktops/laptops, system allows you to cancel and re book your sessions up to and including the day before. You can use the link in the email we send you to do this, but if you are attending regularly we advise you to set up a User Name and Password.
