For any men out there that want to benefit from regular Pilates but would prefer to avoid the mainstream classes that are almost all women, please do join us for this men only class instead.
You will do the same great Pilates with a slightly different emphasis. There is more overt strength training work and more stretching for the hips and legs. Many regulars have issues with their back and we do work on posture, flexibility and generally getting the back moving safely.
Our classes are on-going which gives you the flexibility to start whenever you want, not just at the beginning of term. This does mean that you’ll be joining a class that’s in full swing, but the other men have been in the same situation a few months or weeks ago.
In class, please do feel free to ask for clarification of an exercise, or an alternative. We are always on hand with alternative exercises and modifications but you might have to nudge us. Often in the men’s class it is modifications or advice with back issues that is the case. Please don’t suffer in silence – do speak up if you need some more info or help.

If you would like to book a class, the cost is £9 if you pay and go, and £8 if you buy a block of 5 at £40.
IMPORTANT: If this is the first time you have done Pilates with us, please can you fill out a very short Health Questionnaire before you attend class. (It only takes 2 mins). It is necessary for your safety, our planning and for our Insurance purposes.
