Our Intermediates Pilates class is aimed at people who have done Pilates fairly regularly for a good 6 months or so. That is rather vague terminology but everyone has a different Pilates background and so we don’t want to be too precise about the requirements.
Some of the exercises are fairly demanding and there are elements that are gentler, more chilled. Pilates is a mind/body format and we pay attention to the breath, take the opportunity to relax and notice the body, whilst also working on strength training for the upper and lower body, improved flexibility,and better movement in the spine. All of these things contribute to overall and improved core stability.
Our classes are ongoing which gives you the flexibility to start whenever you want, not just at the beginning of term. This does mean that you’ll be joining a class that’s in full swing. The Intermediates classes tend to be the ones where there are people who have been doing Pilates for years (literally) but don’t be put off. Instead, just put down your mat and get cracking. All our classes are in community venues with an easy-going, relaxed feel to them
In class, please do feel free to ask for clarification of an exercise or an alternative. We are always on hand with alternative exercises and modifications but you might have to nudge us. It is quite common for people to need alternatives if they have knee, shoulder or wrist issues – please don’t suffer in silence.
Class Times and Venues
If you would like to book a Pilates class, the cost is £9 if you pay and go, and £8 if you buy a block of 5 at £40.
If you are new to Pilates Leeds, or have never bought a pre pay card before, why not get your first one for just £30? That is just £6 per session.
You can reschedule your booking up to the night before class. If you decide to cancel completely then please contact me.
Note: if you buy a 5 session class pass, you still have to book the classes for the relevant dates.

For desktops/laptops, system allows you to cancel and re book your sessions up to and including the day before. You can use the link in the email we send you to do this, but if you are attending regularly we advise you to set up a User Name and Password.
For desktops/laptops, you can log in directly to the system using the button below, once you have registered for an account. You can create your account at the same time as booking your first ever class (or any class). Each booking confirmation email offers this.
IMPORTANT: If this is the first time you have done Pilates with us, please can you fill out a very short Health Questionnaire before you attend class. (It only takes 2 mins). It is necessary for your safety, our planning and for our Insurance purposes.
