Our Pilates Beginners classes are aimed at:
- complete novices
- people who are returning to Pilates after time away
- people who may simply want a gentler class.
Our classes are on going which gives you the flexibility to start whenever you want, not just at the beginning of term. This does mean that you’ll be joining a class that’s in full swing. Please don’t be put off by that though. Everyone else has had to make a start as well.
Please do feel free to ask for clarification of an exercise, or an alternative. We are always on hand with alternative exercises and modifications but you might have to nudge us.
We provide mats, yoga blocks and sometimes other equipment such as Pilates soft balls, spiky massage balls, Exercise Bands.
You may have decided to start doing regular Pilates because you’ve been advised to do so by your Chiropractor, Osteopath, Physiotherapist, or GP. We’re glad you are giving Pilates a go and putting your faith in us and trying the classes. Please do bear in mind that our classes are aimed at a mainstream audience. By the standards of an exercise class they are gentle and slow paced, but there still might be exercises that are too demanding for your back. Bear it in mind, listen to your body and ease up or stop if you need to. And talk to us!

Our group classes are now bookable and provided online.
I'm afraid that our class passes are not available for online classes.

When you book, you will receive an email confirmation containing an invitation to the class. Click the link to join the class. The virtual platform that we use is Zoom.
How to Book Your Class
Our online system allows you to cancel and re book your sessions up to and including the day before. You can use the link in the email we send you to do this, but if you are attending regularly we advise you to set up a User Name and Password.
You can log in directly to the system using the button below, once you have registered for an account. You can do this at the same time as booking your first ever class (or any class).
IMPORTANT: If this is the first time you have done Pilates with us, please can you fill out a very short Health Questionnaire before you attend class. (It only takes 2 mins). It is necessary for your safety, our planning and for our Insurance purposes.Questionnaire
